Help Belonging Happen for libraries in Illinois!
The ILA Fundraising Committee is gearing up for an upcoming Silent Auction Fundraiser at the ILA Annual Conference 2025 in Rosemont, IL, and we need your help to make it a success! Please help us raise vital funds for ILA continuing education, events, awards and grants that benefit the Illinois Library Community.
Do you create handmade crafts, jewelry, or art? Do you want to show off your local community, or have a unique item to share? We're seeking donated items, services, or gift cards to include in our silent auction with a special interest in items that align with the conference theme: You Belong Here, or are bookish, literary, or library-themed. All proceeds go to ILA continuing education, events, awards, and grants that benefit the Illinois library community.

Some ideas for donation:
- Handmade art or crafts, jewelry, candles, bath works or skin care
- Gift baskets or themed bundles
- Local non perishable delicacies and beverages
- National gift cards
- Books, collectibles, or specialty items
Donation Guidelines:
ILA will follow up with a confirmation email to accept or decline your donation within one business week.
Do not include: Perishables, homemade food or beverage items, firearms, explosives, drugs, gently used items, overt political/religious themes, clothing with specific sizes.
Minimum value: $50
Size: Due to limited display space at the venue, we kindly ask that all physical donations be no larger than 24"x24"x24" or weigh more than 20 lbs.
Additional artist/donor promotion is allowed by the auction item during the event but is the responsibility of the donor.
ILA reserves the right to determine the starting bid and the discretion to accept a donation or include an item in the auction.
If you’re unsure whether your item fits within these guidelines, please contact us in advance. We truly appreciate your generosity and understanding! 🖊️ Complete this form with information about your donation by September 15, 2025.
These activities are organized through the passionate and creative work of the ILA Fundraising Committee.
Thank you for the wonderful support of our 2025 sponsors.
