Adult Programming Coordinator (Part-time) | Orland Park Public Library

  • Researches, plans, hosts, and evaluates programs (lectures, concerts, crafts) for adult library patrons in tandem with the library's strategic plan and department goals
  • Liaises with presenters and vendors on contracts, forms, and invoices
  • Writes program descriptions, prepares program materials, and requests printed promotional materials
  • Assists with setting up and breaking down program spaces, including AV and other equipment 
  • Curates program-related book displays

Requirements

  • MLS/MLIS preferred or Bachelor's degree with experience related to job responsibilities
  • 2 years of library experience
  • Experience designing and executing programs and/or small and large events preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Salary

$27.50--$28.40 based on skills and experience
