Open Educational Resources (OER) have quickly become an answer to addressing higher education affordability, increasing student completer success raters and reducing equating gaps, and increasing pedagogical innovations. As libraries support the very essence of ‘open,’ librarians and library staff are primed to lead OER efforts at colleges and universities. After setting baselines, including definitions and efficacy of OER, this webinar will discuss some OER and Open program opportunities your library can select to implement and support, no matter where you’re at in the OER adoption process. We encourage you to bring your ideas for OER programs that others can adapt, and your questions and concerns.
