A recording of the most recent NNLM Resource Picks webinar titled “Mapping Tools for Outreach and Public Health”is now available on YouTube. This webinar was taught by Darlene Kaskie, Outreach Specialist with the NNLM Greater Midwest Region on May 10.

About the Webinar

The National Library of Medicine (NLM) Community Health Maps (CHM) blog seeks to improve access to accurate, high quality health information, especially by underserved and special populations. By conveying potential uses of mapping to community groups unfamiliar with the technology and/or too busy to pursue it and by supporting those already engaged in mapping, the program enhances community mapping efforts that support access to health information.

MLA Continuing Education (C.E.) credit is available for viewing this recording until Saturday, June 10. If you have questions about obtaining C.E. credit after viewing this program, please contact Molly Roberts at molly-roberts@uiowa.edu.

The next installment of the NNLM Resource Picks webinar series is “PubMed Health” and will be presented on Wednesday, July 26, at 2:00 PM CSTRegister for the course today!
