It takes a village to improve the health of persons living in medically underserved areas. Join the one-hour GMR webinar to learn strategies for partnering with underserved health communities to promote health information. “Strategies for Engaging Underserved Communities” will take place on Thursday, May 18, from 1:00 to 2:00 PM CST.
Our speaker is Brad Wright, Assistant Professor in both the Department of Health Management and Policy and the Public Policy Center at the University of Iowa. He holds a Ph.D. in health policy and management from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and an MS in health policy from George Washington University. His research interests include federally qualified health centers, primary care and emergency medicine, disparities in health and healthcare delivery, and health politics and policy. His research has been published in Health Affairs, Medical Care, Health Services Research, the Journal of Health Politics, Policy and Law, and the American Journal of Public Health.
