Call for Proposals: Delta Serials Conference (July 27-28)
Illinois Association of College & Research Libraries Forum (IACRL)
February 5, 2017(via Star Holloway, Arkansas State University)
Take part in the inaugural Delta Serials Conference–which will take place on Thursday, July 27, and Friday, July 28, at Arkansas State University’s Jonesboro campus–by submitting a proposal for a regular session or poster session. Share your experience and expertise on any aspect of serials. Possible topics of interest include access, instruction, use, acquisition, cataloging, and licensing of any serial library product. Regular sessions will be 50 minutes long and may be either a presentation or a panel discussion, which may include up to four presenters. Jeffrey Beall, our confirmed Key Note Speaker, will discuss open access journals and predatory publishing. This conference will focus on advances, developments, and continuing issues in the management and use of all serial library products.
Proposals will be accepted from November 1, 2016, through April 1, 2017. Registration opens April 15, 2017. For more information about submitting a proposal or registering for the conference, e-mail DeltaSerialsConference@astate.edu or go here.
