2025 Reaching Forward Award Recipients Announced

Reaching Forward North Committee

The ILA Reaching Forward North Committee has selected Annamarie Magnelli and Kate Kresek as recipients of the 2025 Reaching Forward Awards. 

Annamarie Magnelli, a library assistant in the Kids World at Eisenhower Public Library District, is the recipient of the 2025 Robert P. Doyle ILA Conference Grant for Support Staff. Magnelli will receive a one-year ILA membership, as well as registration and expenses, up to $800, to attend the 2025 ILA Annual Conference and a framed certificate. The award will be presented to Magnelli at the Reaching Forward North Conference on Thursday, May 1, 2025. 

Kate Kresek, programming and outreach specialist at the Indian Prairie Public Library, is the recipient of the 2025 Oberman and Rich Reaching Forward Conference Grant. Kresek will receive complimentary registration to the 2025 Reaching Forward North Conference, an overnight stay at the Reaching Forward conference hotel, $50 for expenses, and a framed certificate. The award will be presented to Kresek at the Reaching Forward North Conference on Thursday, May 1, 2025.
