Health Science Librarians of Illinois Update

Illinois Association of College & Research Libraries Forum (IACRL)

February 28, 2025

By Eric Edwards, Illinois State Library

The Health Science Librarians of Illinois Conference Planning Committee is beginning to put together the 2025 meeting. It will consist of one in-person day and one or more virtual days. As in past years, HSLI hopes to offer a keynote speaker, continuing-education sessions, and other professional development and networking opportunities. Please check the HSLI website for more information as it becomes available.

One of HSLI’s ongoing initiatives is to provide educational programming throughout the year, including outside of the Annual Conference, for both members and non-members. If you have ideas for topics, please e-mail President Betsy Sterner, at esterner@niu.edu. Membership in HSLI is open to anyone interested in health sciences and medical librarianship and does not require having a job in that area. More information is available on the HSLI Membership page.
