The Illinois Library Association Acquires Illinois Libraries Present
January 15, 2025The Illinois Library Association (ILA) is thrilled to announce that Illinois Libraries Present (ILP) is now part of our organization!
This exciting transition and behind-the-scenes work on ILP and ILA's side began in the fall of 2024. As an ILA initiative, Illinois Libraries Presents will continue its commitment to providing the exceptional programming that ILP participants have come to know and love.
We're proud to have retained several founding members in their original roles to honor ILP's mission of fostering collaboration and delivering a curated series of diverse events for member libraries. They will continue to shape ILP’s success under a refreshed committee structure, thoughtfully developed with input and approval from ILP’s founding members and volunteers.
All questions regarding this announcement or ILP-related inquiries can be directed to illinoislibrariespresent@ila.org.
We can’t wait to continue this journey with you and bring even more inspiring programming to Illinois libraries!
