The ILA Reporter Invites Submissions for the Library Buildings Issue!

Did your library undergo renovations or new construction in 2024? Share the news with the library community by submitting the project for the ILA Reporter "Library Buildings 2024" article in the March 2025 issue.

Submissions should include:

  • At least one high-resolution image of the exterior (can include more than one photo)

  • At least one high-resolution image of the interior (can include more than one photo)

  • Photo credits (if applicable)

  • Name of the architect or architectural firm

  • Name of the construction firm

  • Name of the owner’s representative (if applicable)

  • Type of project (Renovation/Expansion, New Construction, etc.)

  • Total cost

  • Service population

  • Name of the library director

  • 1-3 sentences describing the project (not required but if there’s any info you’d like to share about the project)

  • 2-3 quotes from patrons or users for a "What people are saying" section

The deadline for submissions is Thursday, January 23, 2025, and submissions, along with any questions about submissions, should be sent via email to Sarah Anderson at sanderson@ila.org.
