The Illinois Library Association (ILA) is pleased to announce that Lisa Casterline, Director of the Nokomis Public Library in Nokomis, Illinois, and Devin Scott, Programming Coordinator at the Salem Township Public Library District in Yates City, Illinois, are the recipients of the 2024 ILA Small and Rural Libraries Forum (SARL) Annual Conference Grant.
Sponsored by Fast Forward Libraries in its inaugural year, this grant has been established to offset the registration cost for small and rural library workers who would not otherwise be able to attend the ILA Annual Conference.
Casterline and Scott will be recognized at an awards ceremony during the 2024 Illinois Library Association Annual Conference. The conference will take place October 8-10 in Peoria, Illinois.
