Hannah Malmstrom Selected as 2024 Recipient of the Illinois Library Association
Resources and Technical Services Forum Scholarship
The Illinois Library Association (ILA) announces Hannah Malmstrom, Technical Services Cataloger at the River Valley District Library, as the 2024 ILA Resources and Technical Services Forum (RTSF) Scholarship recipient. The RTSF Scholarship was established to offset the registration cost for technical services staff members who would not otherwise be able to attend the ILA Annual Conference.
Hannah Malmstrom has served at River Valley District Library since September 2023, beginning in circulation and later becoming the Library’s sole technical services staff member. Malmstrom will be a first-time ILA Annual Conference attendee with a goal of networking and learning more about library technical services. Malmstrom is a graduate of Black Hawk College with an Associate of Science degree in Health Sciences.
Malmstrom will be recognized at an awards ceremony during the 2024 Illinois Library Association Annual Conference. The conference will take place October 8-10 in Peoria, Illinois.
