Free LLAMA Thought Leader Webinar on September 14

The Library Leadership and Management Association (LLAMA), a division of ALA, will present a free webinar featuring R. David Lankes on Wednesday, September 14, from 12:00 to 1:00 PM CST. Lankes will talk about his personal perspective on successful leadership. He is the director of the University of South Carolina’s School of Library & Information Science, the 2016-17 Follett Chair at Dominican’s Graduate School of Library & Information Science, and recipient of the American Library Association’s 2016 Ken Haycock Award for Promoting Librarianship. His book The Atlas of New Librarianship won the 2012 ABC-CLIO/Greenwood Award for the Best Book in Library Literature. Lankes is a passionate advocate for librarians and their essential role in today’s society.
