Illinois Association of College & Research Libraries Forum (IACRL)

June 5, 2016

Are you a Chicago-area librarian who provides library services to students and faculty at a distance and online? Join us as we launch a local interest group to meet several times a year to share ideas and innovations.

We’re holding a kick-off event on Thursday, June 9, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM CST, at North Park University, located at 3225 W. Foster in Chicago. We’ll be meeting in the Johnson Center’s Helwig Boardroom on the 2nd floor. Free parking is available in the staff parking lot on the corner of Foster Ave and Kimball Ave (behind the Shell gas station). You will NOT need a parking pass. To see a campus map, go here. If you can’t join us in person, join us online via WebEx—we’ll be sending out the meeting link next week to those who RSVP below.

At this initial event, we’ll talk about ideas and issues that we want to explore and set a direction for our first year. Please RSVP here. If you have any questions, you may contact Ariel Orlov, at aorlov@adler.edu.
