October IACRL Journal Club: Join Us!
Illinois Association of College & Research Libraries Forum (IACRL)
September 22, 2020October IACRL Journal Club: Join Us!
by Emily Gilbert, Rasmussen College
As it was covered in our last issue, the IACRL Journal Club has been a great opportunity for academic librarians across the state to share ideas. Meetings are held every other month, and we invite you to join us in October for a discussion on the important topic of vocational awe. The discussion will be led by Emily Gilbert of Rasmussen College, and the article is Fobazi Ettarh’s “Vocational awe and librarianship: The lies we tell ourselves”. We are looking forward to a thought-provoking discussion as we reflect on how we are impacted by vocational awe and how we can combat this to provide more inclusive access and avoid burnout. Please join us!
