This position reports directly to the Library Director and is a key member of the library’s Administrative Team. This position performs general planning and decision-making for library operations and improvements, including managing the distribution of library collection services both in-person and online, creating policies and procedures for collection development, acquisitions, processing, and materials distribution within the library system, overseeing the collection services budget and expenditures, and managing the Collection Services department of assistants, specialists, and pages. Participates in long-range strategic planning and goal setting as a member of the Administrative Team.
Requirements
Master’s Degree in Library Science with at least three years of professional library experience with supervisory duties.
State of Iowa Public Librarian endorsement pertaining to support staff within one year of employment.

$96,920 - $104,189/year
