Supporting Library Colleagues with Mentorship
Tuesday, November 12, 2024
Noon - 1:00 p.m.
Zoom
Singer/songwriter Bill Withers reminds us in his song "Lean on Me" that we all have challenges at times in our lives and that there are people in our lives who are available to help support us through those challenges. As library professionals, some of these relationships can be mentorship relationships to help us navigate challenging moments in our careers.
Mentorship can be formal or informal, and our panelists will provide thoughts and insights into different ways that mentorship can exist in the library world - within an institution, at a national level, and potentially focused on supporting efforts to diversify the profession.
This webinar will be recorded.
