Tina Koleva Promoted to Deputy Director of ILA
May 29, 2025
The Illinois Library Association (ILA) is pleased to announce the promotion of Tina Koleva to Deputy Director, effective May 15, 2025.
In this expanded role, Koleva will build on her previous position as Operations Director by serving as the Lead Project Director for iREAD, overseeing the full scope of the iREAD Summer Reading Program. She will also manage existing and new projects that support the strategic and operational goals of both ILA and iREAD, working closely with the Executive Director on organizational administration.
Koleva has been an integral part of the ILA team for over a decade, starting in December 2014. Throughout her career at ILA, she has held several key roles, including Membership and Product Services Coordinator, Membership Manager, and ILA and iREAD Operations Director.
ILA Executive Director Cynthia Robinson commented, “Tina is a vital staff member and is dedicated to the association, her colleagues, members, and Illinois libraries. We are all lucky to have her as part of our team.”
Please join us in congratulating Tina on this well-deserved promotion.
