Call for IACRL Committee Members

Illinois Association of College & Research Libraries Forum (IACRL)

February 28, 2025

By Kim Tipton, McHenry County College

Each year, IACRL looks for new members to join a committee. Serving on a committee is a great way to meet new people within the Illinois academic library community and work together towards a common purpose. Committee members serve for three years and typically spend 1-2 hours each month on committee tasks. Committee chairs serve a one-year term and spend  approximately 2-3 hours each month carrying out the goals of the committee.

Consider serving on one of five IACRL committees: Conference and Continuing Education committee; Membership committee; Communications committee; Awards committee; or Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion committee.
