Share How Your Library Celebrates Milestones and Your Newsletter Tips
Marketing Forum (MF)
December 18, 2024How does your library celebrate? Specifically, how do you recognize milestones such as library anniversaries, staff achievements, or other special occasions?
The ILA Marketing Forum invites library marketing and communication professionals to share how their libraries celebrate these important moments—whether it's staff milestones, building anniversaries, or winning local or national awards.
We’d love to hear how your library makes these occasions special! If you're interested in sharing your experiences, please contact Tamara Jenkins at tjenkins@ila.org to participate in an upcoming discussion, "Library Celebrations: Dos and Don'ts," scheduled for Friday, March 21, at 11:00 a.m.
The forum is also seeking staff who create newsletters. Do you produce a newsletter for your library? If so, how do you keep it engaging and relevant? What do you include (or avoid)? Is it printed, digital, or both? How often do you email or mail it out? Share your insights and help us exchange best practices by contacting Tamara Jenkins at tjenkins@ila.org to take part in the discussion, "Newsletters: Change It Up and Mix It Out," on Friday, April 18, at 11:00 a.m.
