IACRL Unconference Preview
Illinois Association of College & Research Libraries Forum (IACRL)
September 26, 2024By Kim Tipton, McHenry County College
We hope you’ll join us for this year’s IACRL Unconference! Held on Wednesday October 9, from 8-10 am, you’ll meet other academic library workers from across Illinois and discuss the issues that are important to you. Unconference leaders will ask participants to share their topic ideas, then all participants will vote on the top topics that everyone is most interested in discussing. Each table will host a topic and have flipchart paper and markers to take notes from the discussion. Every 15 minutes, participants will move to a new table to discuss a new topic. After four rounds, participants will share notes from the various conversations that took place about that table’s topic.
The IACRL Unconference is a great opportunity to connect with colleagues, especially those who are new to academic library work or to IACRL. We hope to see you there!
