IACRL Librarians on the Move - Job Changes and Updates

The University of Illinois at Chicago’s Library of the Health Sciences welcomes two new faculty to their ranks. Kim Whalen is an Assistant Professor and Information Services & Liaison Librarian and Community Engagement Librarian, and Liaison to the College of Public Health, who was formerly an Associate Professor of Library Science and Liaison to the College of Nursing and Health Professions at the Christopher Center Library at Valparaiso University. Jimmy Gonzalez Vicker is an Assistant Professor and Information Services & Liaison Librarian and Student Success Librarian, and the Liaison to the College of Dentistry who previously served as the Experiential Learning Lead at the Skokie Public Library.

A new faculty member has joined Northern Illinois University Libraries. Nan Yamprai is an Assistant Professor, Music Librarian, and Head of the Music Library who, before coming to Northern Illinois, was an Associate Professor of Ethnomusicology and Music History in the School of Music at the University of Northern Colorado.
