Do you know an Illinois academic librarian who has made an impact this year at their library? Are you an Illinois academic librarian who has demonstrated a special commitment to the profession?
Nominate your colleagues or yourself for an 2023 ILA Award at https://www.ila.org/about/awards-and-scholarships! The Illinois Library Association has a number of awards suitable for recognizing the work of Illinois academic librarians, such as:

The Crosman Memorial Award for New Library Workers, for a library worker newer to the field who has accomplished a great deal in a short amount of time.

The Illinois Academic Librarian of the Year award, for recognizing the outstanding work and leadership of an Illinois academic librarian who has also demonstrated exceptional service to the Illinois Library Association.

The Intellectual Freedom Award, for a library worker or group who has demonstrated a commitment to preserving intellectual freedom, especially through activities or events that impact Illinois communities.

The Reference Services Award, for a library worker who consistently delivers excellent service and support for library users and their information needs.

Please consider re-submitting a nomination for this year if you submitted one in previous years and your nominee did not receive an award.
