World Languages Network Group
May 18, 2015The next meeting of the World Languages Networking Group will be Wednesday May 20, 2015, from 10:00 a.m. until noon at the Arlington Heights Memorial Library. The topic of this meeting will be a continuation of our October 22, 2014 and February 18, 2015 meetings -- Immigrant Communities and ESL: Programs, Outreach and Collection Development.
This will be an informal "networking" meeting with no specific presenters or vendors. Be ready to share:
- world language and diversity programming successes and failures for adults, teens and children;
- ideas about how to enhance and promote world language collections with low circulation;.
- newsletters, surveys, signage, flyers, etc. which might be of interest to the group; and
- your "top five" ESL materials or resources.
