If You Weren't in Springfield, You Missed Out!
October 27, 2014Thanks to everyone who joined us at the 2014 ILA Annual Conference. We hope you had a great time. The conference evaluations certainly reveal an upbeat mood with so many very complimentary remarks. Seeing everyone at conference, we know the Illinois library community is stronger and even more dedicated to providing superior library services to all Illinois residents. Shout out to ILA President Jeannie Dilger and her conference committee for putting on such a terrific lineup of speakers and events, and a special thanks to our conference sponsors, both new and old---they make all the difference!
We look forward to seeing you in Peoria, October 22-24, 2015, for A Library State of Mind. ILA and the Illinois School Library Media Association (ISLMA), in conjunction with IACRL and SLA Illinois, are partnering on a conference for all library types -- academic, public, school, and special.
The call for program proposals is available at LibrariesIllinois.org and proposals are due February 28, 2015.
