SARL Meetups: Sun Meals To Go
Small and Rural Libraries Forum (SARL)
March 10, 2025-
Kristin Pekoll, SARL Staff Liaison
kpekoll@ila.org
Please join the ILA Small and Rural Libraries Forum (SARL) for a virtual meetup on topics chosen by you, for you: Sun Meals To-Go!
Sun Meals To-Go allows summer meal sponsors in low-income rural areas to provide pick-up or home delivery of up to 10 days’ worth of meals at a time throughout the summer months. While much of our state is eligible for the program, a small number of communities are utilizing this opportunity.
Our facilitators aim to ensure that communities have the information, resources, and support to maximize local utilization of the federal child nutrition programs.
