Call for Speakers for ILA Marketing Forum 2022 Roundtables
December 7, 2021The ILA Marketing Forum is planning its roundtables for 2022, and they need your help.
The forum is looking for library staff who have a marketing/promotion idea or initiative to share about their experiences related to welcoming patrons and keeping them active. The tentative themes for the first few roundtables are listed below:
- January - How to welcome and bring people back into the library
- February - How to welcome new card holders
- March - We welcomed them back, now how do we keep them?
Roundtables are an open format where attendees can get advice on pressing issues, share their experiences, and learn best practices from colleagues. Although speakers have given full presentations in the past, doing so is neither required nor expected.
The roundtables are held for one hour on the third Friday of each month at 11:00 a.m. Previous roundtables can be viewed here.
If you believe you have something to share (even in the early stages), please contact Tamara Jenkins at tjenkins@ila.org by Friday, December 17, 2021.
