Serving Our Public 3.0: Standards for Illinois Public Libraries

This updated version of benchmark standards for public libraries will soon be available, thanks to a hardworking ILA Standing Committee, led by ILA Past President Pam Van Kirk; committee members include Pat Boze, Kim Coughran, Jeanne Hamilton, Amanda McKay, Jane Plass, and Ellen Popit.  Their review and revision of the previous edition will offer libraries and their boards guidance in making sure they are on track to comply with requirements for state funding, as well as engage in continuous improvement for their communities.  The publication date and price will be announced by February 1, 2014.
