Description

Microaggressions are indirect, subtle, or unintentional statements or acts directed at members of marginalized groups. These small incidents add up and make spaces feel unwelcoming. Join your colleagues for a discussion of microaggressions and how they impact us, our colleagues, and our patrons, using this month's article as a starting point.

Lee, M.J., Collins, J.D., Harwood, S.A. et al. "'If you aren’t White, Asian or Indian, you aren’t an engineer': racial microaggressions in STEM education." International Journal of STEM Education 7, 48 (2020). https://doi.org/10.1186/s40594-020-00241-4. The article is open access and freely available from the publisher's website.
