iREAD:
Poster Contest

Young Adult Art Contest

The art contest is almost over. The deadline is July 31. Please turn in your entries to your local libraries. Librarians, please pick one winner out of your submissions and send that winner to your Youth Consultant in your Library System by August 15, and they will in turn pick one winner for that System and send it to the iREAD Committee. Thanks for participating!

We are running an art contest amongst the teens of Illinois to produce the poster art for 2010’s campaign.  The contest is open to all junior high and high school students.  The winning prize is $1,000 and seeing your art on a professional poster sold to the libraries of Illinois.

All you need to do is tie in books, reading or libraries with 2010's theme, which is “Scare Up a Good Book!”  All entries are due to your local participating library by July 31, 2008.  See the attached pdf flyer ( color | black & white ) & submission form for more information.  Or if you have further questions, please call Jason Stuhlmann at 708-395-1237, or e-mail him at jstuhlmann@elmwoodparklibrary.org.

Good luck!
