Acceptable art formats include:
- Camera-ready: B/W High resolution hard copy, 1200 dpi or higher preferred
- Film: Negative, RRED, 150 lpi. Analog proof (dylux or cromalin/Pressmatch type) required
- Digital files: Files may be submitted from either Mac or Windows
platform. (Please be aware that files submitted from Windows platform
may require font substitution when imported to Macintosh QuarkXPress
files. Every effort will be made to match fonts specified.)
Submit files on the following media: CD-ROM, Zip disks, or email (5MB or less).
Files will be placed in QuarkXPress. Files received in PageMaker, InDesign or
other layout programs may need to be re-created in QuarkXPress and may
incur additional cost. All graphic files (i.e., Illustrator, Photoshop,
Freehand) must be either vector art or 300 dpi .eps or .tif files.
Please do not send Illustrator or Freehand files with Photoshop files
embedded. All pdf files must be high resolution press optimized with fonts
embedded. Use spot color not process (CMYK) color or RGB. (Since spot color
changes every January, please contact the ILA for specific Pantone color)
Include all fonts necessary for the output of your file. Postscript fonts preferred.
Laser or color printout required with all submissions. If black and white laser
proof supplied, please note color breaks.
Digital Image Specifications: Greyscale or color file, .jpg, .tif, or
.eps: 300 ppi (pixels per inch). Bitmap image: 600 ppi. No .gif files.
